Describing his unique experience, Smith said, “Now y’all know that Taylor Swift, doing concerts all over the country. I have two daughters. Teenagers have friends. And so when your dad is perceived as having money, and you got daughters that open their mouths and promises them that daddy’s got to get them tickets.”
Smith added, “That was the best concert I’ve ever been to in my life. Excuse my language, but that sh*t was off the chain. Taylor Swift brought the house down. I was jamming to Taylor Swift. She was sensational. I’d pay to see her again.”
This costly spending and the passionate praise for Swift’s performance are unexpected, especially from a personality like Smith. His vocal appreciation for the artist adds another layer to the phenomenal success of Swift’s “Eras Tour.” If estimates are accurate, this tour might be on its way to becoming the highest-grossing tour ever, predicted to bring in $2.2 billion.
