“Championship hangover? Not for Steph cause he’s ballin” Twitter DISAPPOINTED with the Warriors as they lose 4 straight games and fail Stephen Curry

NBA superstar Stephen Curry was the lone fighter standing as the Golden State Warriors face a series of losses. Regarded as one of the most successful NBA teams, The Golden State Warriors started their campaign on a high note. But just nine games into the season, the Warriors have lost six with four straight losses.

The Warriors played their last match against the Orlando Magic. At the end of the third quarter, the Warriors had a healthy lead of 16 points as the score line was 73-57. No one would have thought they would go on to lose the game from there by one point with a score of 129-130. It seemed like the Warriors players, except Chef Curry and somewhat of Klay Thompson, were all sleepwalking.

The team has a star-studded line-up with the likes of Klay Thompson, Jordan Poole, and game veteran Draymond Green who form the support of Curry. But none looked alive on the court other than Steph and Klay at some point, that’s when the Magic stars Paolo Banchero and Jalen Suggs stole the game away and handed the Warriors their fourth consecutive loss. Twitter erupted with disappointment and mocked the ‘champion’ team for their miserable performance and failing the MVP. Some of the tweet reactions can be seen below:

The last time the Warriors star Stephen Curry was a part of four back-to-back losses was nearly a decade ago. He hadn’t even made his playoff debut yet. He was tied for 180th on the NBA’s all-time 3-point list and wouldn’t become an All-Star until a year later.

But Curry stated that it is too early to push the panic button as there is a long season ahead. Moreover, he is confident that his team can emerge as a champion team in these harsh conditions. Steph added that the team is still finding a way as a bench unit and is looking for better combinations as it is still an early part of the season.

Even the head coach Steve Kerr seems much more relaxed with whatever is going around him. The Warriors are among the best teams in the NBA, and there is no argument that they have set high standards for the other teams in the league to match.
