“Stole his championship and now his kid” – NBA Twitter reacts to Draymond Green and Deuce Tatum sharing a wholesome moment
Draymond Green and Deuce Tatum capture hearts of Twitter fans after sharing a wholesome moment together.

Draymond Green and Deuce Tatum
NBA fans were delighted to see a non-villainous sight of Draymond Green after the recently concluded game between the Golden State Warriors and the Boston Celtics. Despite their best efforts, the Warriors dropped yet another game today. They can find comfort in the fact that they fell short against the top seed in a very competitive east. That wouldn’t quite be appropriate for a team hoping to capture another championship this year, though.
Draymond Green was seen poking fun at Jayson Tatum’s son Deuce after the game. Children can bring out the child in most people, as Deuce did with Green. Kids only need to request some simple play from adults. Green amused Jayson Tatum’s five-year-old kid during the Celtics star’s postgame interview with TNT. His play with Deuce was similar to his play on the court, as the Celtics’ Twitter account correctly noted.
Putting all jokes aside, that was a heartfelt expression from a player we don’t get to see all that often. Draymond Green struggled against the Celtics, finishing with 11 points, 13 rebounds, and 9 assists. Tatum led his side to a 121-118 victory in overtime with a game-high 34 points and a career-high 19 rebounds. He made up for his poor shooting performance (9-for-27 FG) with a few crucial shots late in the game.
During Tatum’s rookie season in the NBA, on December 6, 2017. He welcomed Deuce with his high school girlfriend, Toriah Lachell. Since then, the young superstar has grown to be a Boston Celtics icon and a member of his father’s team on an honorary basis. Here are the best reactions from NBA Twitter to Green’s wholesome moment with Deuce.
Draymond Green and the Warriors lose to the Celtics in overtime

In a repeat of the 2022 NBA Finals, the Golden State Warriors suffered a heartbreaking loss to the Boston Celtics on Thursday night, falling 121-118 in overtime. The Dubs put on arguably their greatest road performance of the season and they dominated for much of the entire contest. A Jaylen Brown three-pointer tied the game in regulation, and Boston took control in overtime, but it wasn’t nearly enough against the club with the best record in the league.
Following Al Horford’s 3-pointer in overtime with one of his own to give Boston a seven-point lead with 1:30 remaining and Jayson Tatum finished with 34 points and a career-high 19 rebounds. Jaylen Brown contributed 16 additional points, hitting a 3-pointer with 19 seconds remaining in regulation to force OT.
The victory ended a four-game losing streak over Golden State, which included the Warriors’ victories in the first regular-season rematch in San Francisco in December and the final three games of the championship series.
