“He did it for Lebron” – NBA Twitter reacts to Draymond Green’s ejection after scuffle with Isaiah Stewart
Isaiah Stewart and Draymond Green
Draymond Green is undoubtedly one of the toughest guys in the league. At the same time, he is also listed for his dirty plays on the court. The former DPOY isn’t someone who’ll step down from a fight as everyone around the league, especially Jordan Poole knows how good he is at punching people. But recently, when he got into a heated physical altercation with Isaiah Stewart things were pretty different.
Recently, the Golden State Warriors hosted the Detroit Pistons at Chase Center. After a head-to-head and closely contested game, an overtime battle was expected between the two teams. But Saddiq Bey had some totally different plans as with just one second remaining he drilled a game-winning buzzer-beating three-pointer. And, handed Draymond Green and the Dubs an embarrassing L.
Draymond Green and Isaiah Stewart though were going against each other during the final minutes. And, when Saddiq Bey drilled a three-pointer with a minute and twenty-four seconds remaining for the game to end. Both Green and Stewart looked ready to fight. But none of them was behaving like their true self as Green backed -down and so did Stewart.

The altercation started with them pushing and shoving each other. And, soon they looked ready to square up but both backed down. Draymond Green though was also thrown out of the game as double-technicals were issued and Green expectedly already had one on his name.
Many fans believe Green got scared or did it for LeBron James. While the story is same for Stewart too. Find some of the many reactions posted by fans on social media platforms here below:
In the game, Draymond Green dropped 4 points and had 7 assists and 8 rebounds. Klay Thompson got another marvelous thirty points performance. But with the Dubs losing it all against the Pistons. Right now, the Warriors are ranked in the 9th spot in the western conference with the record of 20-19. The team is really missing Stephen Curry.
If the Dubs want to have a good and deep run it to the postseason and defend their title. It’s high time for them to bring in some major improvements, especially, on the bench. Even Draymond Green has to step up on the defensive end and get the new system going. Or else, the season would already be wrapped up for the Warriors.
