“Do not let this franchise down in this manner” Udonis Haslem disgusted after Heat register worst playoff record in Game 4 vs Celtics

Udonis Haslem the veteran shark of the Miami Heat who is spending his 19th year with the franchise was nothing but disappointed with the team. As they got destroyed in Game 4 of the eastern conference finals against the Boston Celtics. The Celtics showed no mercy and were straight away dominating the Miami Heat like an NBA team would do to a bunch of kids trying to play ball. Udonis Haslem is a perfect veteran for the Heat as he was one of the toughest guys in the league during his prime and has also been on the winning stage multiple times even though he was an undrafted player. He has seen it all happen but last night when he saw his team put dirt on the franchise name he was unhappy about it and even addressed the players. The eastern conference finals series is now again tied at 2-2 as the Boston Celtics under the leadership of Jayson Tatum bounced back once again.

The Boston Celtics hosted the Miami Heat at TD Garden for Game 4 of the eastern conference finals. The game was important for both the teams but unexpectedly wasn’t closely contested or head to head. As the Boston Celtics took over the control of the game from the first minute itself and had them established with a well-controlled lead which eventually got them the dub. The final box score stands at 102-82 favoring the Boston Celtics a 20 points blowout loss for Miami Heat. The Heat stars were just not playing like they should from the start of the game and none from their side ever stepped up throughout the contest. Udonis Haslem somewhere knew a blowout loss is very possible so he decided to address his boys during a timeout. But unfortunately, Udonis Haslem’s words weren’t strong enough and the Heat squad under the leadership of Jimmy Butler fell on the losing end.

None of the Miami Heat’s starters made it to double-digit in scoring even though the Celtics missed the defensive expert Marcus Smart. Thanks to Victor Oladipo (23 points, 6 assists, and 4 rebounds) to keep his team alive in the battle. Jimmy Butler is probably still suffering from the knee injury and it’s holding him back as he dropped only 6 points, 1 assist, and 7 rebounds. Jayson Tatum though was back and even left a mark by dropping 31 points, 5 assists, and 8 rebounds. Udonis Haslem expected it to go southwards and that’s exactly what happened with his team. As even after him calling it out the team gave the franchise one of its worst playoff performances ever.

In the first quarter itself, the entire Heat team was struggling on both the ends against the Boston Celtics. So Erik Spoelstra decided to call a timeout to filter his guys out there and get the job done. As it wasn’t that late and a comeback is always possible. But before the head coach started the rally of words it was Udonis Haslem who decided to talk with his mates and fulfill the duty of a true veteran. Udonis Haslem, the oldest guy in the league quoted his team to step up as he mentioned: “This is the way we knew they are gonna come out.”
