“Atleast he can shoot, unlike Westbrook” Veteran analyst sarcastically reacts to Los Angeles Lakers on signing former Sixth Man of the Year

The Los Angeles Lakers are still continuing their quest towards building a championship roster and they are getting all the help being offered. Recently, they signed Patrick Beverley in exchange of two young talents from their roster to the Utah Jazz. Pat’s arrival is a step in the right directly defensively.

They also managed to hire a high potential head coach Darvin Ham who claims to have several plans to be implemented during the upcoming season. LA showed terrible team chemistry and the former coaching staff did not utilise players according to their strengths.

Their core Big 3 of LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and Russell Westbrook have all agreed to work things out for another season despite Russ having second thoughts on whether to continue with them. Bron signed a two-year $97.1 million extention will be exercised next season until 2025.

Skip Bayless trolls the LA Lakers for adding useless talents

NBA Analyst Skip Bayless is the biggest Lakers troll there is. With their recent signing of Dennis Schroder, the veteran commentator slammed the Lakers on Twitter saying, “PatBev, now a Laker, has been on 4 teams in 2 years. Dennis Schroder gambled on a free-agent market that now has dried up completely, and he all but crawled back to the Lakers. YET THEY’RE BOTH NICE PICKUPS BECAUSE BOTH ARE UPGRADES OVER RUSSELL WESTBROOK. SAD. TRUE.”

Schroder left the Lakers after failing to acquire a $80 max deal with them. After bouncing around four different teams in two years, he decided to put away all disagreements and sign a one year $2.9 million contract. The former sixth man of the year will come off the bench.

He has not been the best in recent years but definitely is an upgrade on shooting the ball. He averages 33.8% from three and 83.3% from the line which is far better than Westbrook’s terrible 29.8% and AD’s 18.6% from the 3-point line last season. Only one problem stands in the way of the Lakers, and that is staying healthy.
