Victor Wembanyama’s rise into the NBA was one of the things fans expected from the beginning. However, the way in which he has exceeded expectations has been phenomenal to watch. The French Phenom has been nothing short of spectacular since day one. For the time being, Wemby has proved well worth the #1 pick that Spurs used for him.

From his towering presence to his brilliant solo performances, fans have been left in awe of his performances. And while his contention for the Rookie of the Year trophy is under no doubt, fans had hoped for an All-Star selection as well. But in what came as a big surprise, he wasn’t selected.

The NBA recently revealed the full 2024 All-Star from both the Eastern and Western Conference. Wembanyama’s non-inclusion has left fans in complete shock and disbelief. The rookie Center, who has averaged 20.6 points, 10.1 rebounds, and 3.1 assists amidst some jaw-dropping highlights, was largely expected to make it to this year’s NBA All-Stars.

And while a few other big names like Domantas Sabonis and De’Aaron Fox were also not included, Wembanaya’s exclusion has caused quite a stir. So much so that Twitter or now X, has been taken riot by angry mobs of NBA fans, giving their insights on how disatisfied they are.
