LeBron James couldn’t hold back from asking the press about a controversial photo of Jerry Jones from 1957 and point their hypocrite nature out. The 37-year-old was asked upon his views on antisemitism and Dallas Cowboys’ owner infamous viral snap. His words were so strong that while many condemned him, former Slam Dunk Champion Vince Carter supported LeBron when he called out the media.

LeBron pointed out how the media would’ve gotten behind the back of such an event if it involved someone like a Kyrie Irving, given his negative image. However, that wouldn’t be the case with Jerry Jones.

Vince Carter was talking on the show ‘NBA Today,’ where he quoted, “Where’s the lie? What Perk just said, what LeBron has said, what RJ (Richard Jefferson) has said, it’s all true.” Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones was allegedly one of the bullies who blocked access to black students at Central High in Little Rock, Arkansas, in 1957.

Vince added, “We have to figure these things out and what LeBron is saying is, ‘You can’t point the finger all the time when those three are pointing back at you.’ Sometimes, we got to step up and ask those questions and hold everyone accountable like Perk said, and now, what’s next, that’s for me, what happens now?”

LeBron has always used his platform to talk about many such important issues.

The LA Lakers improved their record to 8-12 after they crushed the Portland Trailblazers 128-109. All credits to their superstar, LeBron James, who scored 31 points, eight assists, and seven rebounds. He also shot six 3-pointers while going 12 for 18 from the field. Moreover, Bron was well supported by Austin Reaves, who added a season-high 22 points.

Anthony Davis continued his fine run and had 27 points and 12 rebounds. This was the Lakers’ sixth win out of the last eight games. In LeBron’s absence, the franchise also managed to register consecutive wins. On the other hand, it was another heartbreaking loss for Portland. Jerami Grant scored 27 points, four rebounds, five assists, and Anfernee Simons had 22 points and eight assists.

But their efforts went in vain. The Trailblazers have recorded only eight wins and twelve losses this season. Safe to say, Purple and Gold are slowly and steadily getting back on the road to the championship title and will play the Milwaukee Bucks next. In contrast, the Portland Trailblazers will look to shrug off their last defeat and pick up a few wins when they take on the Utah Jazz next.
