WATCH: Shaedon Sharpe reaches heights not known to man with unbelievable putback jam

Shaedon Sharpe's dunk against the Lakers

Shaedon Sharpe is all over the NBA headlines as he recently shocked the basketball world by showcasing his unreal athleticism and godlike bounce. The rookie guard with a dunk of his really hyped up the whole Arena. As not many guys in the league are capable of pulling the dunk he registered against the Los Angeles Lakers in fashion. Shaedon Sharpe was drafted 7th overall this year by the Blazers and now that looks like a good decision.

The LeBron James led Los Angeles Lakers walked away with the dub as LeBron James, Anthony Davis and Austin Reaves balled out with 31 points, 27 points and 22 points respectively. They dominated the game and wrapped it up at 128-109. The game had a lot of highlight-worthy moments but the one ruling and viral all over the internet is of Shaedon Sharpe.

Shaedon Sharpe gave out an early glimpse of his greatness to the league. As for some seconds when he finished a putback jam. He was literally in the air and turned into prime Michael Jordan or Vince Carter while reaching a height not many think is possible, especially for a rook against superstars like LeBron James, Russell Westbrook and Anthony Davis.

With just 7.3 seconds remaining for the second quarter to end the whole Arena was stunned watching Shaedon Sharpe fly to register a monstrous putback jam, as Anfernee Simons missed the three-pointer. As Sharpe went to work and delivered that dunk helpless LeBron James, Russell Westbrook and Anthony Davis just stood down there watching it happen.

Can Shaedon Sharpe and Portland Trailblazers make it to the postseason this year?

Shaedon Sharpe and the Portland Trailblazers had a great start this season and were even topping the ranking table. But injuries ruined and limited them as they are still without the services of Damian Lillard and a few other important key role-players like GP2. Jerami Grant, Anfernee Simons and other young guns of the team have done a commendable job of keeping the team alive in the conversation.

But the efforts from their end aren’t enough to play some winning basketball. As right now the Portland Trailblazers are ranked in the 11th spot with a 11-11 record and have lost 3 games straight. They need a leader to guide them and run the offense as the other veterans are yet to get handy with the system. But once everyone is back and healthy they are surely going to be a problem for the league as they’ll be hunting for a playoff berth.
