Draymond Green’s ejection in Game 2 against the Sacramento Kings was a costly blow for the Golden State Warriors, who are trying to advance to the second round of the playoffs. The fiery forward had several run-ins with Kings center Domantas Sabonis throughout the game, leading to a contentious play in the fourth quarter that culminated in an ugly incident.
The play happened when both players were battling for a rebound under the basket. Sabonis tumbled to the ground, and Green seemed to stomp on the Kings’ star’s chest with his right foot. Sabonis grimaced in pain, while Green walked away. The referees stopped the game and reviewed the video, and decided to give Green a flagrant 2 foul for his action, which automatically ejected him from the game. Green was not happy with the call, and he unleashed his anger on a Kings fan who was sitting near the Warriors’ bench. According to multiple reports, Green called the fan a “p**sy”.

Sabonis showed his toughness and resilience by staying in the game and making a pair of free throws. He also continued to dominate the paint and make smart plays for his team.
