Luka Doncic is hailed as one of the most talented players playing in the NBA today. His ability to run the offense and score in unimaginable positions makes him a threat to any defense. The Slovenian superstar is known for his innovative plays, and he proved it yet again. In the game against the Indiana Pacers, the Dallas Mavericks were desperately looking for a win to keep their playoff hopes alive.
Grasping every opportunity to score and extend their lead, the Mavericks were comfortably ahead in the third quarter. Doncic, however, had plans to steal the show. The Mavs led by 14 points with a little above three minutes remaining when Luka pulled off an unimaginable assist. Pinned and double-teamed in the corner by two Pacers, the Mavericks guard pulled off a ridiculous quarterback pass across the court to Jaden Hardy, who knocked down an open three.
Luka didn’t intend to stop with the magic show there. Immediately after the magnificent pass from the corner, Luka made another great find to the same player yet again. The Dallas Mavericks stood comfortably ahead at the end of regulation to win the game. Securing their 37th win of the season, the score was 127-104.
The Mavericks currently stand at number 11 in the western conference. Marginally missing the Play-In for the moment, they still have a healthy shot at making the Play-In. They’re now tied with three other teams with 37 wins. The New Orleans Pelicans, Los Angeles Lakers, and Oklahoma City Thunder stand ahead of them on the table for the moment. The Mavericks need to make the most of their remaining six games in order to give themselves a fair chance at getting through.

Everything that goes around in the NBA is talked about on Twitter. Needless to say, Luka’s antics against the Pacers generated some healthy attention as well. Fans were in more than just awe, and those who didn’t fancy the Mavericks guard much before the game; now have their heads nodding in appreciation as well.
The Mavericks will be keen to take on this winning momentum into their remaining games. Coming back from a thin stretch isn’t the first time for them, and they won’t be shy to do it again. Above everything else, Luka would be looking forward to reminding everyone why he’s considered one of the best in the business.
