Zion Williamson's stepfather is standing by his son despite cheating allegations
Zion Williamson has recently found himself in troubled waters. The New Orleans Pelicans forward recently announced that he was expecting a baby along with his girlfriend. However, shortly after, Moriah Mills took to Twitter to slam the young player. Mills is a professional adult film star who tweeted a bunch of NSFW content related to Williamson.
Amid backlash from social media, Williamson attended a charity event for his foundation. The charity event was for the children of the Jefferson Parish school system who have to attend new schools due to consolidations. Williamson was accompanied by his stepfather, Anderson Lee, among others, who stepped up in defense of his son. Lee addressed the matter and made a supportive statement in favor of his son.
“I wanna say this and I want to be politically correct when I say it. That’s my son and I love him,” Anderson Lee started “You know, when I was a child, I walked like a child. I talked like a child. Did childish things. But when I became a man, what I understood; is that God blessed me. So all I’m gonna say this morning is believe half of what you see and nothing you hear. That’s all I’m gonna say. I stand by my son 100%.”
There’s no doubt that familial support, which is so crucial to anyone in difficult times, has Zion Williamson‘s back. Moreover, with his child on the way, the forward would like to stay away from the controversy and amid his loved ones.

When she first spoke out, Moriah Mills slammed the NBA player for misleading her. She claimed that he lied about their future together while hiding his growing fatherhood. Moreover, the sudden and untimely accusation by Mills on Twitter took fans by complete surprise. The aggressive tone and context of the accusations coming after the pregnancy announcement left a bitter taste for the fans.
However, recently Instagram model Yamile Taylor too spoke up against Williamson. She took to her Instagram stories to reveal that the forward denied buying her gifts because she refused to record them having an intimate moment. Moreover, she called him a ‘s*x add*ct” for allegedly going around with multiple women and getting his girlfriend pregnant simultaneously.
Zion Williamson surely is in the middle of a social media backlash. With fans and NBA critics in sharp criticism of the young forward, it remains to be seen if more people come out and speak up against the player.
