On Monday, the NBA announced that LaMelo Ball has been selected for the NBA all-star game, suddenly the night became exciting for him despite his team the Hornets lost their game against the Raptors. He will be replacing the Nets star forward Kevin Durant as he is suffering from a knee injury.
LaMelo Ball was previously selected for the 2022 Clorox Rising Stars, but he also claimed for being an all-star this season while he has averaged 19.6 PPG, 7.1 RPG, and 7.5 APG. Meanwhile, he got selected due to an unfortunate situation but still, many NBA fans believe that he was a deserving candidate.

LaMelo Ball claimed that no one in his entire school can guard him during the basketball practice session. He said, “No One can guard me.” It seems that kid Ball was not aware that a time will come soon when he will be an NBA all-star and these lines may justify it more.

With this selection, LaMelo Ball has become one of the eleven youngest players in NBA history to be part of the all-star before his 21st birthday and became the first Hornets marquee to earn the title at this age and joined the ranks with LeBron James.
