In Cavaliers vs Knicks showdown at the Maidson Square Garden, the 31-years-old forwards turned the screws around for the away team, making sure he registers himself in the NBA history books after pouring a big performance against Tom Thibodeau’s New York Knicks.
Courtesy to Ricky Rubio’s career-high 37 points, the Cavaliers were able to beat Knicks 126-109 in-front of their own crowd. It seems like Rubio was possessed at one point of time as he simply could not miss. With the Knicks trying to throw the kitchen sink at the 31-years-old, it seemed like Ricky Rubio has all the answers whenever his team needed to score points.

The Cavaliers veteran made history on Sunday as he became the only player in NBA history to log at least 30 points, 10 assists, and eight three-pointers, while coming off the bench for the away team and even scoring the leading charts in the game.
Entering latest matchup of Cavaliers vs Knicks, Rubio was averaging 11.4 points, 3.8 rebounds, 6.5 assists, and 1.2 steals, while also connecting on a career-best 1.6 triples per game on a 34.0-percent clip. Rubio wasn’t exactly thrilled when he first learned about his summer move to Cleveland, but it is clear that he is surely adjusting to the leadership role at his new team.
Having said that, even when the Cavaliers’ roster might not be the most thrilling, yet the team has managed to enable their position in the middle pact in the Eastern Conference with more wins against their name than losses. Making sure that they improve their performance than last season by all means.
