Steve Kerr reveals just why Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson’s chemistry in on-point for Golden State Warriors

Stephen Curry is on a roll this season; breaking the NBA All-Time record for the most threes, the first player to drop 3,000 3s, and, etc. and the list goes on and on. Curry changed the game for good.

Instead of getting molded into the conventional Point guard responsibilities Curry went on to crush these stereotypes and made a new one- where the point guard is not just the best handler in the team or the passer but the one who can change the entire flow of the game through shooting, drive-ins, and defense.

Yes, Stephen Curry may not just be the most dominant offensive player on the court but also a decent defender. Since he joined the Warriors in 2009, Stephen Curry led them in offense but his defense has improved all well making the Warriors much better on their defensive front. And, when Klay Thompson joined in, the Warriors were having a blast on both sides of the court.

There is no bigger rival than two friends excelling in the same league because they have this unknown competition that pushes them beyond their limit. Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson are such players.

Curry and Thompson are some of the leading players in the NBA when it comes to offense. The Lakers legend Kobe Bryant once called them “Stone cold killers” because they don’t let anything affect them when it comes to them and the basket. They just get the job done irrespective of any external factors.

After winning the 2018 NBA finals things got tough for the Warriors as Klay was battling ACL for the past two seasons and Kevin Durant got traded. The former NBA champions hit rock bottom but seems like things are getting better for them. They have built this amazing roster of capable and competent young players who can lead the team in the absence d of Curry, Klay, or Draymond. A team that can win this year’s NBA Trophy.

Steve Kerr in an interview recently talked about the competitive spirits of Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson making them do better as either of them isn’t ready to fall behind the other. Both of them attract a lot of attention on the court which not only helps them to score when one is being guarded but gives the whole team an opportunity.

Kerr said, “They each make the other one better by being such a threat and drawing so much attention. I think it is important that they have continuity especially when you Draymond Green is added in the mix.”

He further said, “Seeing how transient the league is with players coming and going, it is pretty rare to see payers having such continuity and we are fortunate to have such players on our roster.”

Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson led the Golden State Warriors to 3 NBA Championships. Their dominant stance on the court has earned them the nickname of ‘Splash Brothers’ due to their ability to splash the basket ring with continuous shots, especially their 3 point ones.

With the Warriors cruising through the season, the dub nation is counting days till Klay Thompson makes his comeback on the court. It is definitely going to be exciting to see Curry and Thompson on the court again as the fans are eager to watch the “splash brothers”.
