Zach Lavine and DeMar DeRozan

Zach Lavine and DeMar DeRozan have been perhaps the best one-two punch of this season. Thanks to this dynamic duo, the Chicago Bulls now sit at the top of the Eastern Conference with a 24-10 record, dethroning the Brooklyn Nets.

The Lavine-DeRozan duo has been averaging a combined 52 points per game for the season. The Bulls fans were excited when Lavine and DeRozan cleared the Covid protocols and it shows why. The Bulls are yet to lose a game since having both Lavine and DeRozan back, being 5-0 in that span.

Lavine later said about the whole fiasco in the final seconds of the game that he was ‘freaked out’. He quoted – “[I was] freaked out… it was a designed play, I was coming up to the top [of the key] to shoot the three, they obviously denied it and he [DeRozan] got open, took his time like nothing was going on. I just put my hands on my head”.
