Alex Caruso faces a hard fall due to Grayson Allen's foul play
Chicago Bulls met with the Milwaukee Bucks in the home of the Bucks where an incident occurred between Grayson Allen and Alex Caruso where the latter was the victim of a flagrant 2 fouls which resulted in the ejection of the former and that he walked out with a smile on his face when walking to the locker room.
Billy Donovan on Grayson Allen’s flagrant foul
The game ended with a score of 94-90 with the Bucks taking the win. What was a significant talk of the day was the foul committed by Grayson Allen on Alex Caruso which could be a career-ending foul by the former, Grayson Allen after being ejected did so without showing any remorse, walking towards the locker room with a smile on his face.
Billy Donovan the Chicago Bulls coach, who is in his 2nd season with the bulls lashed out in the post-game interview and went on to say, “it was really bad. It was really, really bad … For Alex to be in the air like that for him to take him down like that, he could have ended his career”.
With that, the bulls coach went on to point out the recent history of Grayson Allen being a rough player and said “he has a history of this. That to me was really dangerous. I really hope the league takes a hard look at something like that because they could have really, really seriously hurt him.”
No remorse from Grayson Allen for Alex Caruso
Alex Caruso continued to play the rest of the match, but it was at the cost of his wrist bothering him throughout the second half of the game. He finished the game with 1 of 6 from the field and with just 3 points in the second half. Alex Caruso mentioned that Grayson Allen did not come to check up on him after the game.
Billy Donovan a man who is well composed and usually does not single out any player came out with singling out the Milwaukee Bucks guard Grayson Allen. After the game, Billy Donovan called out for the foul and said, “He has a history of this”. This was the first ejection for the Bucks guard this season and only his second in his entire career.
Bucks Coach agrees without mentioning it
Milwaukee Bucks forward Khris Middleton came out defending his team-mate when interviewed after the game who said in his team-mates defense, “I don’t think Grayson’s a dirty player…… He’s been great with us all season long. Competing. Defending. Never really crossing the line. So, I think we’re all disappointed to see him ejected for that foul.”
Bucks coach Mike Budenholzer had a word about it after the game about the incident, who agreed with the ejection and had sympathy for the Bulls guard Caruso, he said, “I think it’s a close call…. They went with flagrant 2 and I’m not gonna disagree. It’s right on the border and that’s the direction they went. Just hope for Caruso to be healthy and fine coming out of it. Unfortunate for Grayson, unfortunate for us to have to finish without him. It’s a tough call, but that’s the way they went”.
