Currently, Westbrook is showing his best gameplay and teamwork, as since the start of the season his game hasn’t been much admired by the Lakers Nation. He’s constantly giving multiple turnovers in a single game is one of the main root causes for the fans being doubtful regarding his skill and talent, and his turnovers also became the cause of most of the Lakers’ losses this NBA season.

The Former MVP even went on average five turnovers per game which further questioned his credibility as a point guard. But now it seems that he has made himself comfortable and oriented with the Lakers. Recently he even broke his six years turnover streak against Sacramento Kings in which he played for 34 minutes and didn’t turn the ball over for once.

In the recent game against the Atlanta Hawks, Russell Westbrook played a defensive game and played the role of a game maker. He might have scored only 9 points but his 11 rebounds and 13 assists gave the other players free license to shoot and play their own game.

This took the pressure off from the shoulders of Lebron James, who was showing his one-man show until Westbrook adapted himself to the team. The LA Lakers are currently on a four-game winning streak and to continue to bring wins for the team it has become Westbrooks’s responsibility as he should continue to play his natural game in the upcoming match against Memphis Grizzlies too.
