Just like many of us thought, Stephen Curry went onto break the 3-point record against the New York Knicks at the Madison Square Garden. Having surpassed Ray Allen in the first quarter itself, the world of NBA stood up to applaud the scoring prowess and ability of Stephen Curry as his family to stood by and watched. Right after his 2,974th career triple went in; a proud Dell Curry could not help but control his tears as his son went onto register himself as the greatest shooter from downtown. 

Entering the Warriors vs Knicks game, Curry was hyped to achieve the historical fight and had all the right reasons to break it in the first couple of minutes. However, as soon as Stephen Curry did the inevitable, he made his way right across to where his father sat and the next moment won the hearts of everybody all around the world who saw.

Safe to say, this was the best moment of the night for majority of the fans who watched in and outside of the court. The hug between Stephen Curry and dad, Dell lasted for only a few seconds but it just felt like this was a culminating moment of all the hard work and sacrifice both men put in in order for the Warriors star to get to where he is right now.

To those who are not aware Dell Curry was himself one of the most dominating and devastating shooters from downtown. He was one of those players who taught the modern-generations to score efficiently from behind the arc, in order to pose threats from outside the paint. Justifying his talent, his son Stephen Curry is just an enhanced version of him.

Curry went onto score team-high 22 points as the Warriors went onto register their 23rd win of the season as they beat Knicks 105-96.
