Nikola Jokic, the reigning MVP of the league who has continued his individual domination this season too. Looks all good and set to win it all once again and grab his second straight Most Valuable Player award. He also goes by the name of “Joker” for the energy he has and the character he carries around with his unbelievable passes and playmaking skills something you can compare to a circus play.
Recently at Little Caesars Arena the Detroit Pistons hosted the Denver Nuggets and after a close contested head to head match-up the game favoured the Denver Nuggets as the final box score is 110-105. Currently under Nikola Jokic’s leadership the Denver Nuggets are ranked as the 6th seed in the western conference with the record of 25 wins and 21 losses at .543 as the team wins their last two games. On the other hand the Detroit Pistons who are struggling as one of the worst teams in the league as of now since they initiated a rebuild find himself as the 14th seed in the eastern conference with the record of 11 wins and 36 losses at .234.
In the game Nikola Jokic had a monstrous performance where he grabbed a double-double but fell short by just a assist to complete his triple-double and lead the league in count this season. But unfortunately amid his monstrous performance of 28 points, 9 assists and 21 rebounds he was also a victim of a monstrous dunk. It’s not every day we see Nikola Jokic getting on a poster since he is 6 ft. 11 inches and a improved defender day by day.
It is also more interesting that the guy dunking on him was his teammate wearing the same jersey as the play initiated which ended on a good note with Nikola Jokic almost getting a poster gifted via his own teammate Jeff Green.

With 7 minutes 20 seconds remaining on the clock for the first quarter to end Jeff Green almost gifted a poster to Nikola Jokic. But Jokic being well aware of the explosiveness of his teammate just got aside as Jeff finished the dunk adding two more points for the team. It was a well planned play as the Denver Nuggets showed some awesome team chemistry and playmaking. Nikola Jokic took his second three pointer attempt from down town but it didn’t go in and just hitting the rim was seen in air where Jeff Green tossed it to Austin Rivers and ran to the corner where he got the ball back with some awesome passes by the team.
Reaching the corner and having his hands on the ball Jeff Green faked a attempt as HamidouDiallo went flying by and having no guard in front Green being confident on his athleticism took a run to the rim to flush the ball. Nikola was standing right there as he was holding a screen and watching Green drive got to the side moments before letting him get a poster from his own teammate but still got dunked on.
