The Brooklyn nets were playing at home and somehow got a loud heckler who was having some fun with Kevin Durant, even after Kevin Durant had a good enough game for the Nets, Durant nailed a three-pointer with 10 seconds remaining on the clock which gave the Nets a 1 point advantage, but it was not enough for the Nets to take the victory against the Mavericks, with the new addition to the Dallas Mavericks Spencer Dinwiddie nailing a 3 point reply of his own as the clock expired, and eventually helped his new team win the game at the buzzer. Kevin Durant shuts down a heckler in attendance with no mercy towards him, “You got to shut the F**k up there!!!”, said Kevin Durant.

Kevin Durant as always was carrying the Nets team on his own with no support from the absence of Kyrie Irving, he played 40 minutes for the Nets, and he was being double-teamed and triple-teamed on many occasions, he was missing Kyrie Irving who out a 60-point display in their last game, and this time around he had to take all the pressure upon his shoulders. Kevin Durant was strong, however, to take the game by the scruff of its neck and had major impacts on the game for the Nets. But eventually, he couldn’t drag his team over to the finish line to emerge as victors.

Brooklyn Nets are just above the .500 mark with a record of 36-34 record in the league, they are currently sitting 8th in the Eastern Conference, and as things stand, they have a very favorable chance of making it through the play-in rounds and right in the playoffs. But the situation for the Nets is not that simple as there is uncertainty looming over the availability of newly acquired Ben Simmons, and Kyrie Irving playing games only on the road, things will be taking a toll on the Nets forward to drive his team forward for most of the playoffs and play-in rounds.

Out of the last 12 games, the Brooklyn Nets will be at home, which means no Kyrie Irving for those games, they will be facing teams such as Utah Jazz, Charlotte Hornets, Milwaukee Bucks, and Cleveland Cavaliers during that time. With such a fixture coming up ahead the Nets need to gear up for a tough challenge, to make it to the play-in rounds. they are, however, heavy favorites to make it to the play-in rounds they can’t take the chance of getting complacent.
