Former double champion Conor McGregor is undoubtedly the biggest superstar in the history of UFC. The Irish fighter has achieved everything that the sport of MMA has to offer, and has millions of fans all over the world. After his leg injury, ‘The Notorious’ has been out of action for three years. However, McGregor’s influence among the young fighters remain undeniable.

Other than his antics, the Irish superstar is also known for his accurate predictions, hence the name ‘Mystic Mac.’ Recently, at UFC Vegas 104, one of the fighters trained by McGregor did exactly what the veteran had predicted. Carlos Vera was in McGregor’s team at the TUF season 31, and recently beat his opponent, Josias Musasa, via a brutal knee strike.

Since then, an old video of McGregor with Vera has gone viral where ‘The Notorious’ predicted the same. It seems like being an expert knockout artist, McGregor realized Vera’s strength before anyone else. At TUF 31, McGregor was the coach and went against Michael Chandler‘s team. Vera didn’t win the tournament, but has had a good start to his UFC tenure.

After the season ended, fans expected McGregor and Chandler to fight, but McGregor’s injury caused repeated delays, preventing the matchup. Chandler spent nearly two years waiting for his ‘red panty night,’ but instead, he returned at UFC 309, suffering a tough loss to Charles Oliveira. His patience proved costly, leaving fans wondering what could have happened differently in his career.

McGregor, on the other hand, has completely stepped away from fighting, shifting his focus toward new ventures outside the Octagon. Recently, he visited the White House, discussing the possibility of running for President of Ireland, sparking curiosity among fans. It will be interesting to see if ‘Mystic Mac’ is serious or just creating more headlines for attention.
