Antonio Brown has been involved in several controversies that have almost tarnished his image as a player, despite playing for multiple NFL teams. However, his exceptional skills as a player have undoubtedly paid off in the field. He comes from a family of athletes, and his father, Eddie Brown, was a star touchdown player in the Arena Football League.
No second thoughts as to why Antonio Brown has been inclined toward the sport from a very early age. He attended high school in Miami and played football for the team. His abilities got him a two-time Class 6A all-state selection and later committed to play further for Central Michigan. His university-level years in football gave Brown great recognition and he was able to collect multiple titles like 2× MAC Special Teams Player of the Year (2008, 2009), MAC Freshman of the Year (2007), and many more.
He decided to forgo his senior year of college and enter the NFL draft, which he did in 2010. Brown finally entered the much-awaited draft and was picked up by the Pittsburgh Steelers for a 3-year contract. He made his energetic debut against the Tennessee Titans and returned two kickoffs and even a punt for 128 yards.
His on-field performance was able to make him earn a good amount of bounty, playing with not just the Steelers, but Las Vegas Raiders, New England Patriots, and even Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Throughout his NFL career till now he has been rewarded with Super Bowl champion (LV), 4× First-team All-Pro (2014–2017), Second-team All-Pro (2013), and 7× Pro Bowl (2011, 2013–2018).
