The former Miami Dolphins head coach Brian Flores has been assigned as the senior defensive assistant/linebackers coach for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Flores will get to work alongside a black coach in Mike Tomlin which will be better for both parties as they are the only prominent black coaches around the league.
The former Miami coach was among the news throughout the last month due to his lawsuit against the NFL and multiple teams for reasons related to racism.

After Big Ben announced his retirement following the end of this recently concluded season, it was clear that a new era of the Steelers franchise is upon us and we will be seeing a lot of changes on both the players and coaching front.
With the signing of Brian Flores, they bring a coach who is very solid defensively and can help strengthen the defense of the team as during last season they were getting blown out by good teams and were not able to contain any good offense which was shown in their playoff game against the Chiefs as Patrick Mahomes just blew them out completely in a matter of minutes.
The Steelers might also be in the market or in the draft in search of a good quarterback who can lead this team to what it was years ago and again become a team to be scared of in the AFC.
Mike Tomlin is very fond of Brian Flores and they would fit straight away together and form a team that will be competitive throughout the season.
