Tom Brady is one of the greatest quarterbacks to ever play the game. Even in his mid-40s, Tom was nothing short of sensational, and under him, the Bucs were doing pretty well. However, NFL fans were left shocked when Brady announced his retirement from the game after the 2021 season came to an end.
He had stated that he wanted to spend more time with his family. Many even blamed his wife Gisele Bundchen for forcing him to retire sooner than he wanted to. However, Brady recently surprised everyone by announcing that he is set to return for the Bucs in the coming season.

As expected, a few people did complain about Brady’s hasty decision-making, however, a lot of fans and everyone in the Bucs camp was extremely delighted. In fact, coach Bruce Arians recently expressed that he can breathe easy after Brady’s comeback.
Most recently, Buccaneers co-owner Joel Glazer told reporters that he was left dejected and disappointed when Brady announced retirement. “Went through a lot of different emotions,” Glazer said, via the Tampa Bay Times. “So, the first stage, where you just kind of felt the finality of the whole thing. But then, as time goes on, you think about it and you realize that there’s a lot of emotion involved in a season and it’s painful at the end of the season.”
“I know how I feel at the end of a season, so you think about it, and you know how competitive Tom Brady is, that there’s always a chance. Then he had time to reflect and think about things, and we’re just thrilled to have him back,” he stated, adding that having Tom back is simply unbelievable.
“Having Tom Brady back is unbelievable,” Glazer said. “He’s been unbelievable for our franchise, as everyone knows. And I’ve never been around anybody with the tireless work ethic, the leadership, the person he is, and having done it for so long. So having him back is the greatest news I heard all offseason,” he added.
