“Definitely The **** Superbowl”, Tom Brady Revealed The Most Special Moment In His 21-Year-Long Career

Tom Brady is currently 44 years old and has carved an impeccable legacy in the glittering antiquity of the gridiron. Over the course of his 21-long-years on the field, it is extremely difficult to single out one specific memory that can be marked as the most remarkable incident of an icon’s life. As a matter of fact, the number of remarkable moments that Brady has racked up in his life, it outweighs any singular incident.

He chronicled his first super bowl victory against the Rams which seemed more like a fluke than an incredible outing. To make it a bit sweeter for him, he even snapped up even two touchdowns. It is quite obvious to think that someone of Brady’s stature definitely doesn’t have one single moment to celebrate but he actually does and that was revealed on his “Let’s go” podcast

This is what Tom Brady had to say about his favourite moment in his prolonged career

In the remarkable week of Brady’s 600th touchdown pass, his co-host, Jim Gray gathered around media to ask this incredible question to Brady that has been caressing the minds of his fans for his entire decade. In the episode of the podcast, Brady was asked his favourite moment and without an iota of hesitation, he clarified that winning the Super Bowl XLIX with the New England Patriots was his life’s favourite moment.

Brady just didn’t quote the moment, he quoted a solid reason to back that moment. He stated, “In terms of football if I’m thinking about football and one moment, I’m thinking about the Seattle Super Bowl. That’s probably the one moment… the first three [Super Bowl wins] happened really quickly and then I think I went 10 years and realized ‘Holy shit, this is really hard.’ And how lucky I was, naive and lucky, for the first three.”

Going by the words of Brady, he bagged three Super Bowls during his first year as a starter which instilled faith in him. However, after his third triumph in the Super Bowl, he would walk a decennium without a trophy before the drought was broken. The pent-up emotions and pain of Brady for a decade made this moment an absolute pearler when he triumphed for the Patriots over the Seahawks.

He quoted, “In [2007], loss. In [2011], loss. I thought, ‘This is impossible. Then we won [against the Seahawks] on a miraculous play and since then, it was like a great appreciation every time it happened. There was no taking anything for granted and it was just, that was a really pivotal moment of football in my life. That was football, the ultimate joy.”

The miraculous play quoted by Brady involved Malcolm Butler’s humdinger interception of Russell Wilson at the one-yard line. The play came on the second-and-goal from the Seahawks with just 20 seconds on the clock remaining that would have completely flipped the fortunes of the game piling further misery on Brady.

There were looks of incredulity on everyone’s faces and especially Russell Wilson, who couldn’t believe that he has just botched up a Super-Bowl-winning play. Just to give you a glimpse of Brady’s selflessness, he picked this moment even when he wasn’t on the field for long. For being picked for the MVP award, he was gifted a truck which he gave away to Holder.
