“I’m all BITE no BARK” – Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni reveals what exactly went down between him and the Giants fan

The Philadephia Eagles and New York Giants have a long-standing rivalry in the NFL. Their fan bases hate each other and it has recently come to light that it might also lead to some oof-the-field altercations.
As per reports, Eagles head coach, Nick Sirianni had a shouting match with a Giants fan while playing tennis in Haddonfield, New Jersey. There were some unsavory words exchanged between the two and it’s also been reported that Sirianni said that the Giants and its head coach ‘suck’.
Nick Sirianni feels the Giants fan failed to understand his sense of humor
The fan by the name “Peter from Maple Shade,” called into Thursday’s edition of WFAN’s Boomer and Gio Show with Boomer Esiason and Gregg Giannotti and told a well-thought story that cast the Eagles coach in a bad light. “He came up to me and said I have a problem with what you’re wearing,” the fan said, via NJ Advance Media. “I don’t really have a problem with the Yankees t-shirt, but I have a problem with the hat. I told him, ‘Listen bro, if you have a problem with it, come do something about it.’
“He said he had a problem wearing that hat on these courts, meaning Haddonfield. Then he goes to me and says, ‘Well your team sucks, and your head coach sucks.’ He said that about three times. I’m thinking this guy wants to fight. I said, ‘This isn’t sixth grade. Why don’t you just shut up?’ He kind of took a few steps towards me, and at that point, he kind of just shuts up.”
Nick Sirianni appeared on the Pat McAfee Show where he told the story from his point of view and simplified things. “Well you know it’s funny Pat because a lot of people think you know the term ‘dog mentality’ is just like a fun little catchphrase. I f**king live my life that way okay. I am all bite no bark. So when you hear dog mentality — yeah this guy comes into my neighborhood, he’s in my city, he’s in my park and he is wearing Giants’ gear — I just said, ‘Hey listen pal, take the hat off or I’m gonna knock your f**king teeth out’. And apparently, he had a problem with it. I didn’t see the issue with it,” coach Sirianni clarified.
While there was some truth to Peter from Maple Shade’s story, most of it was grossly exaggerated. Nick Sirianni has a unique sense of humor which as it shows was lost on the Giants fan. Sirianni is fairly new to this rivalry since he joined the Eagles during the regular season in 2021 but he now has a better understanding of the team’s dynamics.
