J.J. Weaver Became Viral After This Image Of His Was Released On The Internet

Kentucky Wildcats linebacker, J.J. Weaver grabbed the fanfare on Saturday just ahead of his team’s clash against aces, Georgia. The reason for him grabbing the limelight was his six fingers on his right hand. Much to the surprise of everyone, all those fingers have been perfectly placed and Weaver also makes good use of it while he is deployed on the gridiron. This condition of Weaver is known as polydactyly. Given the fact that Weaver has an extra finger on his right hand, polydactyly doesn’t necessarily just confine itself to hands but it can happen to both hands and feet.

It is a condition where the person having the same will have an additional digit either on his hand or feet. Going by the words of the Seattle Children’s Hospital, the additional finger varies in its range of potency. Weaver’s sixth finger is fully functional and given the fact that he is a linebacker, it gives his game an added edge. Weaver is currently in his third season with the Wildcats and he has already been a part of six games out of which he has managed to rack up 20 tackles and four sacks.

He has been an instrumental part of the Kentucky defence despite the team bowing out to a sublime Georgia Bulldogs with the scoreline reading 30-13 against them. Kentucky Wildcats have managed to grab two conference championships and both of them came in the South Eastern Conference. Weaver also managed to belt out an excellent 2020 season that saw him grabbing 33 total tackles and 12 sacks.

Jim Abbott, who was a former baseball pitcher and is remarkably known to the world for his pitching ability despite being born just with the left arm, tweeted the picture of Weaver, quoting, “No fair”. Many Twitter users added to the thread by coming out with their witty responses while others came out with stories of their arms that suffered major disability and how they managed to overcome it.
