Joe Burrow had a magnificent season last time around. Whenever the Cincinnati Bengals needed him, he was there to drag his team out of trouble. Even under extreme pressure, the team from Cincinnati was able to win games after games and a lot of credit for it has to go to mighty Joe.
His individual performances and his leadership quality paved the way for the underdogs to make it big. Although they were disappointed to emerge on the losing side at the Super Bowl, the Bengals would surely be proud of their entire side for defying all expectations.
“Nobody is touching you”: La’el Collins to Joe Burrow
Without a doubt, the Bengals want to protect Joe Burrow from any trouble as he is their prized possession and in order to do so, they have roped in La’el Collins. Even Burrow was elated to know that Collins will now play for his side. In order to assure that Collins was indeed joining the Bengals, he sent a text message to him on Sunday.
Burrow enquired Collins if it was a “done deal,” to which he replied, “I was like, ‘Yeah, your new bodyguard is in town.'” In the video message shared by the new Bengals’ recruit, Collins said “Nobody is touching you.”
One has to admit that Collins is very serious about the job he has to do for the Bengals. All in all, one can say that the Bengals have a formidable unit, and whatever voids there are in the side, they are trying to fill them. If they succeed in doing so, it won’t be a surprise if we see the Bengals at the Super Bowl yet again.
