Lamar Jackson has been one of the finest quarterbacks in the NFL arena in recent years. His football abilities led to numerous achievements at a young age, setting multiple records. He was the youngest NFL quarterback to start in the playoffs at 21.

During his time playing sports in high school, Lamar Jackson discovered that he was capable of running and throwing the ball at the same time. A recruit with three stars from ESPN and 247 sports and four stars from rivals.com, he was listed among the top 20 dual-threat quarterbacks back then. Furthermore, he was offered admission to two of the top five schools.

Later, he decided to attend the University of Louisville and play only quarterback. Jackson won the Music City Bowl MVP award in 2015 as a freshman, where he broke many records and made a name for himself by playing well and proving his worth. The QB further declared his interest in the NFL draft, and the Baltimore Ravens selected him as the 32nd overall pick, earning the attention he deserved. Jackson made his professional debut with the Cincinnati Bengals, winning the Ravens’ franchise award. He further was named the league’s MVP for the 2019 season, becoming only the second QB to be voted unanimously to be so after Tom Brady (2010).

Jackson was also one of only four African Americans to win the WP MVP award and grabbed the Pro Bowl honor twice. He was also named to the First-team of All-Pro and was NFL’s most valuable player for many seasons. Jackson is currently a member of the Ravens roster and will continue to show his commitment until the end of the 2023 contract.

With his tremendous display of skillset, the Ravens’ powerful quarterback, Lamar Jackson has justified every penny of his worth. He signed a four-year contract with the Baltimore Ravens, with an option for a one-year extension.

Lamar Jackson’s contract is worth $9,471,648, and it includes a signing bonus of $4,968,471, a guaranteed cash payment of $7,575,059, and a salary of $23,016,000 in 2022. He is going to increase the value of deals with each season.

When he penned a contract in 2018 for 4 years, he earned a base salary of $480,000 and a signing bonus of $1,242,117, making a yearly figure of $5,448,471 as a rookie. Further 2019 season marked his outstanding entry to the prestigious honor of MVP and even the Pro Bowl. Jackson received a base salary of incremented figure $910,529 while maintaining a yearly cash of $1,002,510.

With some of the esteemed honors on the shack, Jackson entered 2020 with a base salary that earned him $1,341,059. Additionally, he made a yearly figure of $1,535,980, while the coming year  2021 multiplied the digits to $1,771,588 as a base and annual cash flow.
