The 38-year old is one of the favourites to win the MVP award this season according to leading sports analyst and host, Nate Burleson. According to Burleson, Rodgers has already done enough to nail down a 4th career MVP courtesy of his consistent showing throughout the season.

Aaron Rodgers has had an eventful 2021 season for the Green Bay Packers

On being asked the question about Aaron Rodgers locking up the MVP award this season in an online podcast, Burleson said, “Yes. 100%. Without a doubt.”

Burleson continued, “You know, I feel like when it comes to MVP, you have to have a certain level of consistency, you have to be on a good team. You think about Aaron Rodgers this season, he’s only had a couple of bad games.”

The former wide receiver gave the justification that Rodgers has only had a couple of bad games so far this season, which only shows the consistency he has maintained over the long year.

“Let’s start off with Week 1, you can chalk that out to him having one hell of an offseason, where he didn’t know whether he will show back up. He has a dead game against the New Orleans Saints, and then in the middle of the season, mid-November he has a bad game to Seattle, but they ended up winning that game.”

“So, besides those two teams, those two games, Aaron Rodgers has had an incredible year, so I’m going to say Yes,” finished off Nate Burleson on the topic of Aaron Rodgers winning the MVP title.

Rodgers has also emerged as the bookies favourite to win the award ahead of his competitors, Tom Brady, Jonathan Taylor and Cooper Kupp, who are also in the race to win the title.
