Patrick Mahomes is undoubtedly one of the biggest talents in the NFL. Although the Chiefs couldn’t go the distance this time around, they were quite consistent throughout the season and Mahomes had a huge role to play in that. However, the man has been among controversies for some time now.
Interestingly, his actions aren’t the reason why his name is dragged in several controversies, in fact, his fiancee Brittany Matthews and brother Jackson are the ones who attract a lot of criticism because of their actions which ultimately result in negative PR for Patrick.
Brittany Matthews again gets brutally trolled
Recently, a video clip went viral on social media in which Brittany Matthews can be seen talking to Mahomes courtside at the Texas Tech Basketball game. Many alleged that it is visible from the video that it was hard for Mahomes to endure whatever Brittany was saying.
This time around, Mahomes decided to get back at the trolls. “Man people are weird… love you babe,” Mahomes Tweeted in support of Brittany. The Kansas City star is rated very highly by most experts. Many reckon that he has the potential to become the next big thing in football.
However, the fact that his brother and fiancee keep getting involved in controversies is going to impact his career negatively. If not now, then in the future, but at the same time, one has to point out the fact that relentless trolling against a particular individual, in this case against Brittany, cannot be justified.
