Looks like San Francisco 49ers‘ Brandon Aiyuk has taken the rivalry with the Philadelphia Eagles too seriously, as he was seen cancelling the opponents’ logo on a fan’s poster. After facing defeat at the hands of the Eagles at the NFC championship last season, the 49ers entered this season all fired up to avenge their loss.
Fortunately for them, they succeeded in overthrowing the NFC No. 1 seed, by a 42-19 in week 13. However, San Francisco didn’t seem to take the victory humbly, as their players bashed the Eagles all around. First, it was Deebo Samuel’s trash-talk to the Eagles’ cornerback James Bradberry, and now it is Aiyuk, who was seen aggressively crossing Philadelphia’s logo on a fan’s poster.

After a slow start in Monday’s game, the 49ers started to pick up the pace with the second quarterback. With 8 minutes remaining, the team found themselves ominous in the red zone for the first time. That’s when quarterback Brock Purdy slung the ball to wide receiver Aiyuk, aiming for a touchdown. However, it was reviewed for some time and later confirmed the catch and touchdown, giving the 49ers their first lead of 7-6.
Aiyuk logged five catches for 46 yards and a touchdown in the game against Philadelphia, leading to an ultimate victory of 42-19. After the big win, he ran towards the audience, where a fan was holding a poster with the Eagles’ logo. Aiyuk didn’t wait and aggressively crossed out the logo using a red marker. The wide receiver was also seen in Samuel’s Instagram live in the locker room, where the two rapped the lyrics to “That Get Back a Motherf**ka” in a mocking tone towards the Eagles cornerback Bradberry.
Brandon Aiyuk criticised by Eagles’ fans
Even though San Francisco is enjoying their revenge for last season’s NFC championship game, the Eagles did not seem that bothered, as they prepare for the upcoming game against divisional rivals Dallas Cowboys, a pivotal game for their NFC standings.

However, Eagles fans did not seem to like the 49ers wideout’s action even a little bit. For disrespecting the Eagles’ logo, Aiyuk is being slammed all over social media by the fans. One fan wrote, “So damn annoying!” while another wrote, “This was their championship game that’s why.” Eagles fans are mocking the wide receiver saying this was their “Super Bowl.”
Fans believe the rivalry between the Eagles and the 49ers is totally one-sided, as the Eagles seemed unbothered while still ruling the NFC.
