“Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady don’t impress me!” Trent Dilfer makes big statement about the modern-day game
Former Baltimore Ravens quarterback Trent Dilfer has a weird take on the success of Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady.

Trent Dilfer on Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady
Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady are probably two of the most popular names in NFL history. The two legendary quarterbacks are well known across the globe for their exploits and major success over the years.
However, there will always be haters when you’re successful and Brady and Rodgers are now exceptions to that. Recently Trent Dilfer (part of the Baltimore Ravens team which won the Super Bowl in 2000) tried to diss the duo in a promo show for ESPN’s new series 30-For-30 Bullies of Baltimore focusing on the Ravens team which won the Super Bowl XXXV.
As per Trent Dilfer, Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady are ‘not impressive’ and he feels that the modern-day game is too easy. With quarterbacks facing less physical threat, he believes the level of difficulty in the game has gone down.
Trent Dilfer tries to bash Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers

Trent Dilfer chose to scrutinize Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady of all people as he made the claim that the two quarterbacks are not that impressive. According to Dilfer, the new rule change has made it far too easy for the quarterbacks and he tried to downplay their achievements.
“The modern day game does not impress me,” said Dilfer. “It’s super easy when you don’t get hit as a quarterback, and when you can’t reroute receivers, and when you can’t hit guys across the middle. I love Tom Brady, I love Aaron Rodgers, I love these guys. It’s not impressive. What’s impressive is what they did,” he said while pointing out his Baltimore Ravens teammates.
It is surprising that Trent Dilfer would make these comments as he is nowhere close to what Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady have jointly achieved. Tom Brady alone has won 7 Super Bowls whereas Aaron Rodgers and Trent Dilfer have won the same (1)!
Moreover, Aaron Rodgers has four MVP awards in his bag while Tom Brady has three. Many are saying that this is just another example of the older generation of players complaining about the new and being unable to digest their success.
