It seems like Aaron Rodgers is still in his honeymoon phase with the New York Jets. Rodgers is currently training with the Jets for the upcoming NFL season. Amidst this, just days ahead of the Jets’ 2023 season opener against the Buffalo Bills, Rodgers attended the US Open Tennis tournament with his teammates Randall Cobb, C.J. Uzomah, and their families.

The Jets were apparently given most of the day off on Sunday after a long practice camp that began a week earlier than the other teams due to the Hall of Fame game. Rodgers used the day off to attend the US Open at Arthur Ashe Stadium in Queens, New York, alongside pass catchers Randall Cobb and C.J. Uzomah.

The veteran quarterback was wearing a black Happy Hours hat before changing it to a navy blue US Open hat in the stands. Rodgers, Cobb, and Uzomah were reportedly watching the game between Ben Shelton and Tommy Paul, in which Shelton secured a victory in straight sets.

Ever since Rodgers arrived in New York, he has been enjoying the social lifestyle of the Big Apple. In the 2023 off-season, he has been to an NBA playoff game and an NHL playoff game in the big city. Furthermore, he was also seen dancing and having a good time during Taylor Swift‘s concert at the MetLife Stadium. The 39-year-old appears to be having the time of his life in New York!

The 10-time Pro Bowl QB Aaron Rodgers is looking to lead the Jets to their first playoff appearance since 2010. However, the Jets have a tough schedule in 2023 that could make things complicated for them.

In fact, there’s a real possibility that the Jets could go 2-4 in their first 6 games as they will be facing tough opponents including the Kansas City Chiefs, the Philadelphia Eagles, the Dallas Cowboys, and their division rivals Buffalo Bills.

Furthermore, Rodgers and the Jets are in one of the toughest divisions in the entire. They will have to face the offensive juggernauts the Bills, the Miami Dolphins, and Bill Belichick‘s New England Patriots twice each in the season.

Still, the Jets also boast one of the strongest offensive and defensive units in the league. The Jets have a top 5 defense in the NFL and with the addition of Aaron Rodgers and Dalvin Cook, their offense has also gotten stronger. So, if Rodgers can stay healthy for the entire season, the Jets have a shot at making a deep postseason run.
