Now that the 2023 NFL season is done, fans will have to wait until September for the sport to return. Though there will not be football played in the NFL, it does not mean fans will be left without entertainment. The offseason comes with its own set of drama, players getting traded unexpectedly, massive contracts being signed, and the possibility of Aaron Rodgers announcing his retirement.

The quarterback for the Green Bay Packers announced that he intends to go on a ‘darkness retreat.’ During this period, he will undergo voluntary solitary confinement. This was scheduled to begin this Monday however, it did not happen. Rodgers even appeared on the Pat McAfee Show on Tuesday as he has done all year long. The four-time MVP took this time to clear some things out.

He initially called out Ian Rapoport, and Adam Schefter for reporting over his darkness retreat. “I think they’re really good at their jobs. When it comes to me, they don’t know sh*t. They don’t have people in my inner circle who are sources… I’ve had this plan on the books for four months, for the same time. When someone like that goes on and says something that’s not true it creates a story that’s fu**ed.”
