After finally becoming the face of the New York Jets, quarterback Aaron Rodgers is spending his time attending New York teams’ playoff games soaking in the atmosphere of the fanbase.

The former Packers QB Aaron Rodgers previously visited the NHL round 1 playoff game between the New York Rangers and the New Jersey Devils with teammates Breece Hall and Allen Lazard at the Madison Square Garden. When Rodgers was introduced as the quarterback of the Jets in the jumbotron, New York fans went wild and gave the biggest cheers of the night to Rodgers.

And now a day after that public appearance, Rodgers returned to Madison Square Garden to watch the NBA round 2 playoff game between the New York Knicks and the Miami Heat. Rodgers once again received loud cheers from the NY natives when he was shown on the jumbotron. The former Packers QB is also a minority owner of the Milwaukee Bucks NBA team.

Unlike the hockey game, Rodgers didn’t get to witness a New York team victory in the NBA game. The Heat managed to outscore the Knicks 108-101 and take the first game of the best of 7 series. The Knicks will look to bounce back in the second game of the Eastern Conference semifinals, which is set to take place at the MSG on Tuesday.

Can Aaron Rodgers lead the Jets to the Super Bowl?

Back in the 2020 off-season, when the New England Patriots icon Tom Brady left his long-time home to join the Tampa Bay Buccaneers team and actually surprised everyone by winning a Super Bowl in his first season with the Bucs. Could Aaron Rodgers do the same with the Jets?

Aaron Rodgers has a better team in New York than Tom Brady had in Tampa Bay. However, the competition in AFC is much harder than the competition in NFC at this time.

Even Rodgers’ own division AFC East is filled with contenders. Ever since Brady left the division, the Josh Allen-led Buffalo Bills have been dominating the AFC East as they’ve won 3 consecutive titles. Now, the Miami Dolphins also have a stacked team and will be a very tough team to beat twice in one season. Besides, one can never count out Bill Belichick‘s Patriots team.

Despite all these struggles, Aaron Rodgers has a good shot at leading the NY Jets to a deep postseason in the 2023 season. If key players can stay healthy all season, the New York-based franchise certainly has a shot at lifting the Lombardi Trophy once again.
