Former Pittsburgh Steelers WR Antonio Brown never shies away from giving his opinion publicly. This time, he has targeted Russell Wilson and his present team, the Denver Broncos.

The Broncos have been making headlines after announcing that they would bench the star quarterback. Wilson has a potential $37 million buyout option in his contract. If the player gets injured in the coming games, then the team has to pay him a hefty amount of money.

In this present context, former wideout Antonio Brown targeted the Broncos, as he found the situation disgusting for Russell Wilson. He had a pinch of sarcasm for the Broncos as he shared a funny meme via his Twitter account. The meme was a sarcastic representation of what is presently going on at the Broncos squad.

Brown pointed out the difficulty for the Broncos. He implied that the team is trying to play the blame game with the star quarterback. Whereas the problem lies elsewhere, believes Brown. He is taking a dig at Sean Payton-led Broncos management and his effort to run the team properly.

In his entire career in the NFL, Brown has always found himself at the core of controversies. He once ran shirtless to the Steelers dressing room. His on and off-the-field activities had a role in his early exit from the league.

Russell Wilson’s issue is getting bigger

The Wilson-Broncos saga is getting bigger with time and the Denver-based franchise is starting to receive a lot of criticism. It started with Robert Griffin III, who slammed Sean Payton over the Wilson issue.

For Sean Payton to do everything he’s done to Russell Wilson when he came in the door, he was trying to make it seem like he was not the problem. When you pay a quarterback like Russell Wilson, who has won a Super Bowl, and is a Hall of Famer, when you treat him the way that Sean Payton has, it just feels to me like he doesn’t want him to be his quarterback.

The relationship between Payton and Wilson has been a cat-and-mice play. Since the very beginning of the season, both shared a very poor relationship. The veteran coach was often seen either criticizing Wilson openly or shouting at him on the sidelines. The temporary winning streak did not make things light between them.
