Just when everyone thought it was his time to make the headlines with his performances, the man got himself involved in a controversy. Recently, as reported by TMZ, Byron was arrested by Florida Highway Patrol. Reportedly, he was doing donuts in his Orange 2016 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat.
Moreover, he did this while there was a child in his car and to add to this, he was driving on a suspended license. While Byron’s precious car was towed away, he was arrested on charges of reckless driving and driving with a suspended license.
Given that Byron had just signed a contract with the Bear worth around $6 million, with $4 million in guaranteed money, this incident would have to be counted as a major setback. It will be interesting to see how the Wide Receiver performs for his new franchise this year.
