Bill Goldberg is arguably one of the most famed and recognizable pro wrestlers to come out of the WWE. With 173 simultaneous wins under his belt, he has one of the longest win streaks in wrestling history. Before he gained fame and notoriety as a wrestler, Goldberg was an NFL player. He played defensive tackle for the Los Angeles Rams and the Atlanta Falcons in the early 90s.

The wrestler went back to his roots as he was in attendance for the Atlanta Falcons matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Before the game began, he walked onto the field and was welcomed with a sight that made the blood of every Falcon fan boil.

A fan of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers was on the field, waiting to greet Bill Goldberg. However, he was proudly wearing a Tom Brady jersey while repping his team.

Bill Goldberg performed one of his most vicious wrestling moves as he speared the fan and dropped him onto the ground. His move received roaring cheers from the home crowd at Mercedes Benz Stadium. Tom Brady is a name that should not be taken at Falcons games where huge crowds are waiting to pounce on fans of the greatest QB to ever play the game.

The reason is the 25-point comeback that the quarterback helped orchestrate to get the New England Patriots back from a 28-3 deficit. Ultimately, the Pats won the game in overtime with a score of 34-28. It went down as the greatest comeback in Super Bowl history and for Falcons fans, it was nothing short of a massacre. February 5th will always remain a dark day in the books of Falcons football history.

Bill Goldberg could not spear Tom Brady in person but he surely has nobody stopping him from spearing a fan supporting the retired QB’s jersey. He went on to grab the mic from the team’s mascot before delivering his signature line “WHO’S NEXT?!”. The energy was high all night at Mercedes Benz Stadium as the Bucs and Falcons are divisional rivals, and the wrestler’s presence at the game just amped up the energy levels!
