An unexpected event took place in the week 8 game between the Buffalo Bills and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Bucs’ punter Jake Camarda swung his helmet at the Bills DE Gregory Rousseau. The officials picked up a flag, but Camarda was not penalized. He was not taken off for his attitude towards the opponent. He played the whole game. It was later found that his helmet was ripped off and the swinging motion was reactionary. 

However, the reaction quickly became viral. A short video on X depicted the action where the punter was seen swinging his helmet at the Bills DE. Netizens criticized him for the action.

The incident occurred in the second quarter of the game when the Bills tried to score a field goal. What followed next was a harmless scuffle and later the helmet swing by the punter.

Camarda is a fan favorite at the Bucs and one of the best players on this roster. Punters usually do not hold this position, but Camarda’s case has been different. With his performance and attitude on the turf, he has become one of the fans’ favorites.

The game between the Bills and the Bucs was a close encounter. The Bills won the game 24-18. Apart from the Camarda incident, it was a harmless game. Both quarterbacks performed well, but Josh Allen outplayed Baker Mayfield and was successful in achieving a much-needed win for his team. After eight games, the Bills are up by 5-3. They have won five games and lost three. On the other hand, the Bucs are sharing a 3-4 record after seven games.

However, their winning streak faced a major halt when they lost against the Jacksonville Jaguars and the New England Patriots.
