A few days ago, a video of former NFL quarterback Cam Newton went viral all over the internet. He was seen fighting with a group of men at a youth football event. It was a 7vs7 All-Star football tournament at the B.E.S.T Academy on Northwest Drive in Atlanta. The former quarterback was seen fighting with the opposition team, TopShelf Performance (TSP).
Right after the video went viral, the former quarterback was subjected to a lot of memes and funny reactions. The former quarterback seemed disgusted regarding the entire TSP incident.

Newton finally addressed the incident via his ‘4th and 1’ podcasting show. The former quarterback said that the fight kicked off after the members of TSP exchanged a few heated words. After that, the fight between the two took off.

Newton claimed that he was upset with himself after the fight took place. He did not hide his frustration in the podcast. The former NFL quarterback, however, did not reveal any further details in the podcast.

In the past few months, Cam Newton’s name has become synonymous with controversies. Ahead of the Super Bowl, he made a controversial statement regarding Brock Purdy. He said Purdy is just a good game manager but not a game changer. His comments on Purdy was met with severe criticism from people belonging to multiple sections.

However, the people who opposed the statement most were the fans. They slammed Newton on social media. The former quarterback had to come up with twisting the statement a bit after he was slammed by the San Francisco 49ers fans.

Newton’s NFL career did not last long. Though he never announced his official retirement, he showed more interest in building his career on YouTube than playing football. Recently, Newton himself claimed that he is no longer a football player.
