Dak Prescott, their quarterback, came into the season under a massive spotlight after the worst season of his career last year. He led the league in interceptions last season and a lot of the analysts were ready to move on from the signal-caller.

In September this year, Fox Sports analyst Colin Cowherd called Prescott a regressing pocket passer who needed help. Fast forward a couple of months and Cowherd is now singing a different tune. The analyst did a complete 180 and has labeled Prescott as a top 3 QB in the league after a run of great performances in recent weeks.

A couple of months have gone by since that statement and Prescott has improved his play significantly since then.

In a recent episode of The Herd with Colin Cowherd on Fox Sports, the analyst said:

Dak's a top 3 quarterback in the league. He is. I'm not getting turnovers, I am getting accurate, I am getting confident, I am getting big plays, I am getting fourth quarter excellence.

The Cowboys have been on a roll since their loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in week 9. Prescott has been on fire in recent games as he has led the Cowboys on a four-game winning streak. They will look to continue this momentum in their next game against the Eagles on December 11.

Cowherd called Prescott a ‘regressing pocket passer’ back in September this year. However, the analyst changed his opinion a few months later as he called him a ‘top 3 QB’ in the league in December.
