The Dallas Cowboys’ head coach, Mike McCarthy, has been fantastic this season. He has led The Cowboys to a 9-3 record and has them playing some great football.

They are on a four-game winning streak and will play their next game against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday Night Football this weekend. The much-anticipated clash will be one of the most important games of the season for the Dallas-based team. However, McCarthy is set to undergo appendicitis surgery prior to the game.

You think that tough Irishman is gonna miss this game? We certainly expect him to be rocking by gameday.
Cowboys’ defensive coordinator Dan Quinn told the reporters

McCarthy is in his 17th NFL season as a head coach, and this is his fourth season with the Cowboys. He already won a Super Bowl with the Green Bay Packers back in 2010.

Heading into the Week 14 game, the Cowboys will desperately need their head coach on the sidelines. The Eagles have proven to be a tough matchup for the Cowboys, as they already lost to them earlier in the season.

We wanna get to this 10th win. We understand where they are. It's the Cowboys [versus] the Eagles. I don't think you have to say anything more on that.
McCarthy said on Monday

The Cowboys are one game behind the Eagles in the NFC, and a win against them will go a long way in boosting their morale heading into the final few weeks.

The Cowboys are looking to win their first Super Bowl since the 1996 season. They have come close a couple of times but haven’t won the title yet. This year’s Cowboys have a great overall roster, and they will certainly hope to make a lot of noise in the postseason.
