“The Philly fans are f”cking idiots,” Cowboys OT Jason Peters believes that Cowboys will be met with ‘nasty’ and ‘vulgar’ reception for the Eagles-Cowboys game
The Cowboys-Eagles game is one of the most awaited games of the season. Both the teams have also shared a long-time rivalry between them and the fans are excited to witness the game in action on Sunday Night Football.
The Cowboys and the Eagles have had an amazing start to the season as the Eagles are undefeated in the first 5 games and the Cowboys have only lost one. Their QBs are also in scintillating form with Jalen Hurts and replacement QB Cooper Rush impressing fans all around.
The thing that makes this matchup the most exciting is the atmosphere in the stadium when the Eagles-Cowboys face each other. The game is hosted by the Eagles as the Cowboys will visit the Lincoln Financial Field.
Eagles OT Jason Peters made a bold claim before the game saying that the Eagles’ fans don’t believe in camaraderie and the Cowboys will be met with a nasty and vulgar reception.
“I just know the Philly fans are f—— idiots when it comes to camaraderie, the Cowboys-any team really,” Jason Peters told Michael Gehlken of the Dallas Morning News. “….They know that. They pride themselves on being nasty, vulgar. They’re going to cuss at you … Philly fans are the wildest fans out there to me.”
Dallas Cowboys vs Philadelphia Eagles can be considered an early final for the NFC
The Cowboys and Eagles are in impressive form as they have defeated every opponent they have faced. The Cowboys have lost their first game to the Bucs though, but after replacing Dak Prescott with Cooper Rush to an injury, the Cowboys have won every single game.
The game will come down to offence vs defense as the Eagles have a great offence that is matched by the amazing and improved Cowboys’ defence.
On the other hand, OT Jason Peters won’t be faced with a warm reception by the Eagles’ fans even after spending 12 years in Philadelphia for the Eagles. The fans are ‘crazy’ and won’t be sparing anyone, the Cowboys should be prepared for a hostile environment.
“If it’s Cowboys-Eagles, it’s going to be a feisty game. . . . It’s just another game for me,” Jason Peters said. “I get to go back to where I laid the foundation at and got my championship. But it’s a division game. It’s going to be a feisty game, and like I said, it’s just another game for me.”
The Eagles-Cowboys game will be a nerve-wracking, stress-altering affair for the fans who support those teams, but for all the neutral fans like us, we should expect a great game on Sunday.
