“Are you on DRUGS?”: Davante Adams gets ridiculed for calling Derek Carr a Hall of Fame QB.

Davante Adams and Derek Carr
Davante Adams is on a new team after a long time, he is reunited with his old college quarterback, Derek Carr, and seems to be extremely enthusiastic about playing with him. We have not seen Davante heap praises on his former quarterback as much as he is doing now. From calling Carr and Rodgers to be on the same level and claiming that Carr has better arm talent, Adams has done a lot to uphold and defend his quarterback. However, his most recent comments indicate that he might be overdoing it a bit.
Recently Davante Adams spoke to CBS Sports at the Raiders training camp, he was asked about the transition from Rodgers to Carr and how it was, and his response is rather shocking. “Anytime you change quarterbacks from hall-of-Famer to Hall-of-Famer, you go Stabler to Rich Gannon or whoever, it’s going to be a little bit of an adjustment. Both are great players and great to be around, I’m enjoying the process and getting better myself trying to do as much as I can to help these guys go out there and win games,” Adams concludes.
Davante Adams believes that there won’t be much adjusting to do on his part as Derek Carr is similar to Aaron Rodgers:

Adams went a bit overboard here, given Derek Carr is a reputed quarterback, he is no bum, he can play on a consistent basis and is a great leader and locker room presence as well. However, if we are making an argument for him to enter the Hall of Fame, it is pretty hard. Carr has not won the MVP once, nor is he a Super Bowl champ, he has not even made the Super Bowl yet.
He has numerous individual records and all of them are impressive but none of them scream Hall of Fame caliber. Here is what NFL fans had to tell Davante Adams after this ridiculous comment of his.
Get yourself a hype man like Davante Adams.
No words are needed, his reaction says it all.
It’s about time that he does.
