Cardinals WR DeAndre Hopkins Returns to NFL after suspension
In May 2022, DeAndre Hopkins was suspended from the league for violating the league’s performance-enhancing drugs (PED) policy. He tested positive for taking performance-enhancing substances, as traces of Ostarine were found in his body.
While Hopkins keeps on maintaining he never took any substance, and the amount of Ostarine found is due to contamination in food, the bottom line is he is back at the Cardinals camp and was seen practicing before Thursday’s game.
DeAndre Hopkins will be playing his first game since mid-December, where he teared up his knee ligaments during that period. That injury kept him out for the last four games last season and the PED policy violation for the first six of this season.
“There is a reason why he’s the best”: Cardinals QB Kyler Murray expresses delight on WR DeAndre Hopkins’ return

Of course, his return to the field is great news for the team, fans, and admirers of the Game, and so does the Cardinal’s QB Kyler Murray. He expressed his feelings and praised his teammate via Cardinal’s official website.
He said, “His energy, man, it seems like every time you see him on the field … there is a reason why he’s the best,” There’s very little doubt that Hopkins is a great player of the sport and his return will surely give a kick-start to the Cardinal’s Offense.
But DeAndre Hopkins’ return is not the only thing that can help the Cardinals to get back on track. There are many other things to be focused on. Murray also stated that “It’s not a miracle that everything is gone. We still have things we have to get better at, still things we need to fix.”
Well, surely Murray is right. And as Murray also mentioned, getting Hopkins back is a big boon, but it won’t solve every problem of theirs. The Cardinals are currently 2-4 after Week 6, and they really need to get things in place if they still want to be contenders for the championship.
Speaking of DeAndre Hopkins, the man does have some value behind him and has an impact creating ability. With 592 Yards, 8 TD, and an average of 13.6, he had a good season last year. His inclusion in the team might just give the team what they are desperately seeking this season, an offense that can win.
Arizona Cardinals are currently 4th in the NFC West points table and are at the bottom of the most metric lists. They will be facing New Orleans Saints on Thursday Night Football this week, where we might see Hopkins back in action.
