Cheating in sports is never appreciated by anyone. So when allegations of some dubious behavior start flying around, the eyes and ears of the sporting world get attracted to it. One such allegation has been levied on the Michigan Wolverines football team. They have been accused of stealing signs and illegally scouting players from different teams. The NCAA suspended Michigan analyst Connor Stalions after holding an investigation in the matter.

On Monday, sources told ESPN that Stalions had purchased tickets in his own name for more than 30 games over the past three years. These games were at 11 different Big Ten schools. Stalions also forwarded some tickets to other people, hinting at some improper scouting operation. Colorado Buffaloes’ head coach Deion Sanders was asked about Michigan’s sign stealing scandal.

I don't know how accurate that stuff is. I mean, everybody's trying to get an edge. Everyone's trying to get an edge wherever they can. You can have someone's whole game plan. They could mail it to you. You've still got to stop it.
Sanders told reporters on Tuesday.

Sanders further said that he doesn’t buy into the ‘sign stealing’ that much, as it is a physical sport and teams still have to go and play.

It's a physical game. You got to stop it, so that's a little tough. I don't buy into a lot of this stuff that someone's stealing this, stealing that. I don't buy into a lot of that. You still got to play the game.

Michigan head coach, Jim Harbaugh, denied all the allegations in a statement last week. He clarified that he had never “directed any staff member or others to participate in an off-campus scouting assignment.” Sanders doesn’t seem too worried about these allegations.

Deion Sanders calls his team’s second-half collapse against Stanford as pathetic

The Colorado Buffaloes’ latest game against Stanford ended in a devastating blown lead by the Buffs. Their head coach Deion Sanders called the team’s performance as “pathetic” after the game. The Buffs blew a 29-point lead in double overtime on October 14.

What we just did today was pathetic. All the love that you received and all the love that we were receiving, oh you be getting ready to see that flip. And don't get beside yourself on social media and start responding to the foolishness, because [the critics] are right. They're right. ... And we are practicing tomorrow [on Saturday].

The Buffs started their college football season with three wins in their first three games. They have won just one game in their next four. They will hope to bounce back this weekend against the UCLA Bruins on Saturday, October 28.
