“There was a point where I was unconscious so I couldn’t really tell what was going on,” Tua Tagovailoa said Wednesday, speaking with reporters for the first time since the injury. “… Yeah, I remember the entire night up until the point I got tackled. After I got tackled, I don’t remember much from there.

The 24-year-old QB was carted off straight to the hospital, where he received further treatment. Although Tua was quite fortunate, as he miraculously recovered from a career-ending brutal injury.

“Getting carted off, I don’t remember that. But I do remember things that were going on when I was in the ambulance and when I arrived at the hospital.” Tua Tagovailoa added.

The Dolphins organization and HC Mike McDaniel also received lots of criticism on social media for their selfish behavior to play Tua despite suffering from a concussion.

Tua Tagovailoa has cleared all the concussion protocols and went through the required treatment. The Dolphins QB is set to return as a starter in their week 7 matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

NFL Twitter burst out with anger when they saw that Tua is set to return, although he is in full fitness as he just stated in a press conference, there’s still a lot of risk playing him. Many doctors have also condemned the decision and some even want the QB to retire.

Tua Tagovailoa has been a revelation for the Dolphins in this season of the NFL as he leads the league in passer rating. In the game against the Bills, Tua went out with a concussion but returned in the fourth quarter just to see his team through for a win and he is just 24 years old.

Twitter was furious with the decision to play Tua so early, though some people believe that the QB has cleared the concussion protocol and there was little to no risk for CTE. Let’s look at some of the different reactions down below.
