Russell Wilson is currently one of the most scrutinized athletes in the NFL. The former Seahawks QB was traded to the Broncos to change their fortunes. However, the Broncos have seriously lacked this season and sit last in the division with a 4-11 abysmal record.
Many media personnel blame Wilson for the Broncos’ lackluster offense and they may be right. However, Wilson being criticized for his field behavior is harsh according to NFL analyst Emmanuel Acho.
Acho was recently featured on ESPN and spoke extensively about the Super Bowl winner and how the media is being harsh on him. Wilson is under constant scrutiny, as many believe that the QB has lost the confidence of his locker room and is out of touch with his teammates.
The Broncos QB was also criticized for his different warm-up routine where he was doing kick-ups mid-flight for fitness. “So many people have been so loud, including myself, about Russell Wilson splintering the locker room, losing the locker room, being out of touch with his teammates, and being the most disingenuous person in the NFL,” Emmanuel Acho stated on Speak on ESPN.

Emmanuel Acho changed his opinion regarding Russell Wilson

Wilson is seriously being misunderstood by the people and mainstream media. Emmanuel Acho recently changed his stance on Wilson’s off-the-field tactics after up-and-coming WRs of the Broncos organization spoke in support of the 33-year-old.
WR K. J. Hamler recently spoke in favor of his teammate Wilson and is fully confident in his abilities. Maybe, the media has been too harsh on the QB and probably he needs one more chance for retribution and to prove all people wrong who put him down. The Broncos QB is known for his hard work, however, now he is being constantly roasted regarding the same.
The Broncos are currently dead-last in their division and will face a formidable foe in Kansas City Chiefs in their next game. A win against them will be a difficult task as the Broncos are also without an HC after the termination of Nathaniel Hackett.
With new owners in charge, the Broncos will look to end their miserable season on a high note with a win in their remaining two games against the Chiefs and the Chargers.
